01 · THE PROBLEM

The most important industry in the sky has no town square.

Drones are now a national-security priority — for the DoD, the US National Drone Association, every operator pushing the field forward. Yet the people who know the most are scattered across DMs, private servers, and tribal knowledge that never leaves the hangar. Nowhere to ask, to verify, to learn. The expertise exists. The shared brain doesn't.

The Forum

A discussion forum with an AI co-pilot. Every thread is vectorized and RAG-aware, so the assistant answers from the community's real knowledge — with live sentiment analysis reading the room.

The Simulator

A real-world physics simulator. Pick a drone, pick a map, and fly it — handling tuned to that exact aircraft. Feel how it flies before it ever leaves the ground.

02A · FLY IT

Know what it's like to fly before you buy.

Before Sky, you'd have to visit tens of sites to fly tens of different drones. We wanted to create a world where you only had to go to one.

03 · HOW IT WORKS

The hard part was making it feel real.

The forum runs on a vectorized backend — semantic search and RAG over every post, sentiment analysis layered on top so the assistant understands not just what was said, but how the field feels about it. The simulator is the showpiece: built on Unity and fine-tuned over multiple rounds with real pilots and aerospace engineers until each drone's handling matched the real aircraft — in partnership with Tesseract Ventures All three pillars, shipped in 48 hours.

At the 2025 SCSP AI+ Hackathon — hosted at the AI+ Expo, the largest AI & tech gathering in the DC area, under sponsorship from OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, and the US National Drone Association — Sky took first.
